Why I Built Boom Stalker for People Who Work for a Living

I didn’t come from Wall Street. I built Boom Stalker after long shifts, late nights, failed ideas, rebuilt spreadsheets, and a belief that everyday people deserve better market-research tools.

“Normal people can learn this. Normal people can build things. And normal people deserve tools built with their lives in mind.”

A founder story about long shifts, market noise, hundreds of hours of testing, and why Boom Stalker is being built for everyday traders with real lives outside the market.

I’ve spent the last 10 years working in a steel mill, and anyone who knows that kind of work knows what long hours can mean: demanding shifts, missed birthdays, exhaustion, and sometimes feeling like you work to live instead of live to work.

Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I became fascinated with the stock market.

My journey started with a borrowed copy of Stock Trading for Dummies. It wasn’t some grand plan to build a financial technology company. I simply wanted to understand what was happening in the market and why.

The more I learned, the more interested I became.

And the more interested I became, the more overwhelmed I felt.

There were charts, indicators, news stories, analyst opinions, social-media hype, screeners, financial statements, economic data and countless people telling you what the “next big trade” was going to be.

For someone working long shifts and coming home to a family and everyday responsibilities, there simply wasn’t enough time to process all of it.

“There has to be a way to quantify this.”

That thought eventually became Boom Stalker.

Turning Market Noise Into Something I Could Understand

I began experimenting with spreadsheets, scoring systems and different ways of organizing market data.

Then I rebuilt them.

Then I broke them.

Then I rebuilt them again.

What started as a personal research project slowly became hundreds of hours of testing and development. At this point, I have spent more than 650 hours working on ways to score and organize market information so that potential momentum, volume, relative strength, trend and risk can be viewed together instead of across six different screens.

The goal was never to create a magic number that tells someone what stock to buy.

I wanted something much simpler: a way to look at the market and understand what the numbers are saying without spending my entire day trying to find the story.

That eventually became the idea behind Boom Stalker’s scoring and research system. Instead of asking someone to read every article, watch every chart and chase every headline, Boom Stalker is being built to organize important market information into a clearer research process.

Because most of us do not have all day to stare at monitors.

Work gear, a real shift, and the same limited time Boom Stalker is being built around.

I Got Tired of the Hype

One of the biggest reasons I kept building was frustration.

There is an incredible amount of useful information available to retail traders, but it is buried inside an equally incredible amount of noise.

Fear.

FOMO.

“This stock is about to explode.”

“This is the next 10X.”

“Buy before everyone else finds out.”

I’ve chased hype before. I’ve made mistakes because of it.

“What are the numbers behind the story actually saying?”

That question is still at the center of Boom Stalker.

I want the system to help surface what is actually happening in the market so that the person using it can research the opportunity and make their own decision.

Boom Stalker is not meant to replace judgment. It is not a promise of future performance, and it is not a machine that magically knows what happens next.

It is a research tool.

And it is still learning right alongside me.

I’m Still Building It

I don’t have everything figured out.

I think that matters enough to say plainly.

I am learning every day. The market keeps teaching me new things, and Boom Stalker keeps changing because of what I learn.

Some ideas have worked. Some have failed spectacularly. Some spreadsheets that I thought were brilliant eventually became archived files. Some scoring rules looked great until actual data proved otherwise.

That process is not something I want to hide.

It is the process.

Boom Stalker is being built through testing, measurement, mistakes, refinement and a lot of late nights. And now I want other traders involved.

Boom Stalker Is for People Like Me

I have a demanding job.

I have a family.

I have responsibilities outside the market.

I have limited time.

And I deal with the same information overload as the people I’m building this for.

I wasn’t sitting in a financial office when Boom Stalker started. A lot of this was built after long shifts, at home, tired, trying to make sense of a market that never stops producing more data, more opinions and more noise.

That is exactly why I believe there is room for a tool like this.

You shouldn’t need to be wealthy.

You shouldn't need six monitors.

You shouldn't need to speak Wall Street.

You shouldn't need eight uninterrupted hours every day just to organize research.

“Normal people can learn this. Normal people can build things. And normal people deserve tools built with their lives in mind.”

Help Build Boom Stalker

Boom Stalker is now entering beta testing.

I’m looking for everyday traders who want clearer, more organized market research and who are willing to tell me what works, what doesn’t, what is confusing, and what would actually make the tool useful in their lives.

I don’t want to build Boom Stalker inside a bubble. I want the people it was designed for to help shape what it becomes.

If that sounds like you, I’d love to have you involved.

Let’s cut through the noise and build something useful together.
